Once production, final inspection, and quality control are complete, WideluxX™ cameras will be shipped from Germany via express service. Each camera is carefully prepared for shipment, packed to protect the camera’s mechanical assembly during transport, and fully insured, including coverage for cosmetic damage or handling that could affect the mechanism.
Customers will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information once their camera has been dispatched.
Customers outside the European Union are responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, or import charges in their country.
Preorders reserve a camera from the first production run, limited to 350 WideluxX™ cameras.
The first cameras are expected to ship approximately 6–8 months after orders open, with the entire run expected to ship within one year. Throughout the production period, customers will receive regular updates on manufacturing progress.
Each WideluxX™ camera will be individually prepared for its owner. Engraved initials are selected when the order is placed. Additional customization choices — including the rewind knob variant and several design color options — will be selected later in the production process, approximately four weeks before the individual camera enters assembly.
Because each camera is produced according to the buyer’s specifications, the statutory EU right of withdrawal after delivery does not apply. SilverBridges GmbH instead offers a voluntary 14-day cancellation period beginning when the order is placed.
If a camera has not shipped within 12 months of purchase, the customer may request a full refund.
WideluxX™ cameras are covered by a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
If a manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, repairs will be carried out by our technicians, the same team responsible for assembling the cameras. For warranty service, SilverBridges GmbH will provide shipping labels so the camera can be returned safely for inspection and repair.
Routine maintenance is not covered by the warranty but will be available as an authorized service at the customer’s expense.
Because WideluxX™ is a precision mechanical instrument, service must be carried out by our technicians or an authorized service partner. Repairs carried out by unauthorized technicians will void the warranty.
